The entry foyer lights at the shop were not working, which meant customers and staff were moving through a dark access area. Because the site was a commercial property under strata management, the issue created both a practical disruption and a clear safety concern.
The main technical challenge was diagnosing why the entry foyer downlights had no power. During testing, it became clear that the problem was more fundamental than a faulty fitting. The lights had never actually been properly connected, with no wiring running to the downlights at all.
